So we came upon this while looking up the latest coffee news on Google:
A 'parlor coffee float' Yeah, it's coffee mixed with ground ice, whip cream, and ice cream. Perhaps the iced coffee trend has gone a bit too far. Don't get us wrong, a wonderful iced coffee is fantastic- a cold brewed cup of coffee (be it on the rocks or in a smoothie form) is delicious. Tagent time! What is cold brewed coffee? Good questions! It's where you take a slightly course ground coffee and steep it overnight using cold water (no heat!). It helps bring out the caramel and chocolate flavors.
Anyway, given our society's need to cut back on the extra calories when able, perhaps an ice cream coffee float isn't the best new path to dive down. Just sayin'
