After months of working with local area restaurants, Tucson based Tylers Coffees is releasing a new version of their famous acid-free coffee. This time it is ground specifically for restaurant and cafe quality French Presses. The new collaboration shows that Tylers Coffee is expanding quickly into the restaurant cupofbeansmarket. “The thought behind our new grind for restaurants is that they can’t afford to serve a cup of coffee that has a few arrant coffee grinds floating in it. That just doesn’t cut it for them,” director of marketing Joey Iuliano elaborated, “quality is paramount for these establishments. They want to serve their customers a healthy, quality product and we are here to deliver.”

The new grind is much more coarse then what is typically found in a bag of Tylers Coffees regular or decaffeinated. The company’s primary grind works well in a variety of applications, however, in some it requires extra filtering to ensure the final product is clear of tiny grinds. This extra step can cost restaurants and cafes valuable time. “For consumer we grind our coffee to be used in the broadest applications- from espresso to drip to percolator. However restaurants and cafes want a more exact grind, so we’ve delivered that,” said Iuliano. The company expects to release the new grind later this month.
