Chef Herndon says “We take everyone off of coffee for at least six months because of the acid and the caffeine. One big thing my customers miss is a cup of coffee in the morning. I am especially happy to find Tyler’s Coffee because it is acid free. Having a cup that’s both acid free and delicious is wonderful!”

Automatic Coffee maker
To make a full perk pack To make a half perk pack
1 (2oz) perk pack (makes 10 cups) 1/2 (1oz) of a perk pack (makes 5 cups)
10 cups of water 5 cups of water
Place coffee in filter as usual and fill the water reservoir with 10(or 5 if making half) cups of water. Brew according to your machine's instructions. If you’d like a lighter brew, increase the amount of water to suit your palate.
French Press
Makes 6 cups
1(2oz) perk pack
6 cups of water
Heat water to boiling. After it boils, let it rest for one minute (this is called ‘off-boil’). Place the coffee at the bottom of the French Press.
Pour just enough ‘off-boil’ water to cover the grounds and let sit for 30 seconds. This opens up, or ‘blooms,’ the coffee grounds.
Pour the rest of the water over the coffee. Steep for four minutes and then plunge.
(if you like your coffee stronger, steep for another 1-2 minutes. If you like a lighter brew, step for 1-2 minutes less)
